Parent University Training Centers
Chicago Public Schools’ Parent University Training Centers are designed to expand the Parent University footprint and leverage parents into leadership roles. The Parent University Training Centers are modeled after Parent University, which consists of two to three classrooms dedicated to supporting adult learners. Parent University Training Centers offer similar services and resources as Parent Universities; however, each site will be managed by a volunteer, called a Parent Ambassador.

Parent University Training Centers are currently housed at Earle Elementary, Fenger High School, and Steinmetz High School. The sites have been generally chosen due to the presence of strong parent representatives. With the Parent University Training Center unique to the neighborhood it serves, each thrives off the community around it to further its growth and empowerment process.
