Programming
The Office of Diverse Learner Supports and Services (ODLSS) provides the tools to ensure that all Diverse Learners receive a high-quality public education that prepares students for success.



In partnership with ODLSS, Parent University will offer workshops during the 2018-19 school year:
  • September:  Understanding Your Rights as a Parent/Guardian
  • October:  Navigating the IEP Process
  • November/December:  Exercising My Rights as a Diverse Learner Parent
  • January:  What is Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) and Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE)
  • February:  Notices I Must Receive During the Special Education Process
  • March:  Tools of Parent/Guardian Advocacy Empowerment
  • April:  Including Your Diverse Learner in the General Education Classroom Setting
  • May:  What is Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS), Progress Monitoring and the IEP Report Card
  • June:  Preparing Your Diverse Learner for the Summer
